Jacob - and was it Simon? - floated this ides during our last meeting. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced it's a winner, and could be very useful on a number of levels. If each partner organisation selected two artefacts associated with shepherd culture in their environment, with just a bit of background information, we'd have the makings of a really lovely, simple, tactile. lo-tec exhibition which could go the rounds of our communities, offering insights and linking people in a way digital things can't. If other people agree, why don't we start now? We in Wales would offer to be a collection point, but maybe someone else would like to take that role?
Robin's made contact with a Bedouin organisation on the southern Negev desert who are interested in participating in some of our activities, and it might be a nice start to send them something like this as a present - maybe in that case, just from one or two of us?
